1. Acceptance
By accessing pomodoro.fitdevotion.com you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Service
FitDevotion Pomodoro is a free web app that provides a Pomodoro-style focus timer, background music selection, task management and Kanban-style projects. The service is provided "as is", free of charge, without uptime or feature guarantees.
3. Account
To save data across devices you sign in with a Google account via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for keeping your Google credentials safe. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (i) attempt to disrupt or compromise the service, (ii) reverse-engineer or scrape the app for unauthorised purposes, (iii) upload illegal, infringing or harmful content as task names, project descriptions or links, (iv) use the service to spam, harass or impersonate others.
5. Intellectual Property
The FitDevotion name, logo, UI design, source code and content (other than User Content) are protected by intellectual property laws and belong to FitDevotion. The Pomodoro Technique itself is a productivity method developed by Francesco Cirillo and is not affiliated with FitDevotion.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any task names, project descriptions, links or other text you enter. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and display this content as needed to operate the service.
7. Third-Party Services
The app embeds YouTube video previews and uses Google Firebase. Their respective terms apply (policies.google.com/terms).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitDevotion shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of data, productivity or revenue arising from your use of the service.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (see Settings → Account or /delete-account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app interface or by email when feasible.
11. Governing Law
For users in the European Union, these Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. For users in Brazil, by Brazilian law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
